What are Dermal Fillers?

How is the Procedure performed?
Dermal Fillers treatments are inections of a gel like substance that are either introduced into the skin by a needle or a cannula, depending on the area that is
being addressed.

For some areas which may be sore to inject, a local anaesthetic is applied prior to injection. Dermal filler treatment can take between 10 to 15 minutes to perform for a single area.

Are there any side effects?
The main side effects associated with dermal filler treatment are swelling (2-4 days), bruising and lumpiness that may take up to 2 weeks to resolve.
