What is RF Microneedling?
Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling, also known as Dermaforce, combines two technologies to target deep layers of the skin. This amazing treatment combines microneedling and radio frequency technology to encourage the production of collagen proteins within the skin.
RF Microneedling uses insulated needles that not only inflict highly controlled trauma to the outermost layer of the skin, but also deliver radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of the skin simultaneously. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process to encourage collagen production in the dermis. Skin will appear slightly red and dry after the treatment, but this will subside within a few days.
Once results start to show, the skin will appear tighter and firmer. Your complexion will appear brighter, and the texture of the skin will be smoother. RF Microneedling can treat most areas of the face and neck, including the brows, crow’s feet, jowls, and jawline. It can also treat areas on the body such as the stomach. A course of 3 treatment sessions is recommended to see the best results. Typically, 4 weeks is left between sessions to allow the skin to heal. Results will be seen after 3-6 months and once the course of treatments is complete, the results will last approximately 1 year. We advise a check in around 3 months after your course is complete to review your results.
